Career Development

To begin the Career Development process, Willows-Marsh uses a variety of assessment tools including eCareerValues and the eCareerFit Personal Style Inventory from eCareerFit.  The Personal Style Inventory was developed over a period of more than a decade by industrial psychologists John W. Lounsbury, Ph.D. and Lucy Gibson, Ph.D.

As an excellent managerial resource, eCareerFit instruments offer the Willows-Marsh representative and the manager a platform to initiate and outline more effective career planning sessions with participants.

The personalized evaluative feedback report details thirteen trait dimensions that are broken down into three categories for Orientation to the Future, Interpersonal styles and Personal styles.

Willows-Marsh then uses the E.A.R.N. Transition Learning methodology. The E.A.R.N.components include:

E – Engagement in the development process, evaluation of emotions and the emotions of those involved. Engagement as appropriate to the emotional state

A – Assessment of skills, abilities and career orientation, and action based upon assessment results

R – Relating to others

N – Negotiation of understanding, and movement on to the Next step in the career development and growth process
