On-Boarding

If your company is growing, and growing quickly, are you sure your new hires are being acclimated in a manner that promotes their understanding of their role, your mission, and the company's investment in the hiring and retention process? It is not unusual for a new employee to leave a position within the first 120 days due to disillusionment from lack of expectation communication.
- Has the new employee been acclimated to their team?
- Are they aware of and in contact with internal peer groups?
- Do they understand who their intellectual capital and thought leadership peer resources are?
- Do you have a formal and effective internal Mentor program?
- Are your employees truly engaged?
On-boarding activities begin pre-hire through effective and accurate recruitment communications, followed by an interviewing and screening process that increases the success rate of position acceptance. The orientation of new hires starts prior to the employee's start date and usually is extended through (at least) the first 6 months of employment.
